Little Shed

This was a cute little herb shed that was on the farm I recently visited. Out in front of the shed where herbs planted in different areas as well as flowers. Ben's actual birthday was this past Tuesday. When we asked him what he wanted to do he said "Eat pizza on the farm!" He's really bright for a two year old! lol Anyway we decided to take him to a local farm. This was a totally cool place, with lots of beautiful photos ops! It is a working farm that lets you explore, and best of all it's free! It was an extremely hot day out but Ben was such a trooper, and we had a blast!

Yesterday was Ben's second birthday party. I had all of these great ideas and all of these great plans and then I realized I just didn't have the time! I was planning on making his cake, but the night before I decided to order one from Walmart! Luckily they were able to make it in time! I had bought the cake pan and all of the decorations, but with the Wiggles concert and the family reunion I just didn't get the chance! But oh well, I realized that I cannot do everything! I made a "dirt cake" instead and served it in his dump truck. You can see what that looks like in the first photo. It was served with an orange shovel! I think it turned out great! The whole thing was gone by the end of the party!

I really wanted everything to be perfect.....the party and the photos but it didn't turn out like I had imagined. I ended up getting just snapshot type photos and the party was just ok. I guess what matters is that Ben had a blast!

We had such a busy weekend. Friday night was the Wiggles concert, yesterday the reunion, and today Ben's birthday party! Here are some photos from the reunion yesterday. Ben had such a great time playing with his cousin (my niece) Jenn.
Tomorrow I will have to post photos from his party! Such an exhausting weekend, I don't feel like writing too much....I'm way too tired!

We went to see the Wiggles last night at the Mellon Arena! It was Ben's 2nd birthday present from my husband and I. The show was AWESOME! Ben had such a great time. After the show was over we were pulling out of the parking lot and saw about a dozen people standing by the fence in the parking lot by the tour buses. I told my husband to pull over that I thought that they were fans waiting for autographs. We waited about 45 minutes, and about every five minutes my husband would say "Can't we just go?" I kept saying just 5 more minutes. I knew that I desperately HAD to meet Anthony the "blue Wiggle!" I have a major crush on Anthony! Ben was having a great time and wasn't cranky so we waited it out. Sure enough after an hour or so after the show the Wiggles came out to get onto their tour bus! Each one came over to the fence and spent time signing autographs and posing for pictures! It was awesome! They were so polite and asked Ben if he got to see Wags and Dorothy the Dinosaur. He even got high fives from them! He was thrilled! They spent time asking about each child and thanked everyone for coming to see their show! They totally made our day....especially mine cause I got to meet Anthony! What an awesome group of men! This is my version of the little girl in a tutu! I appologize if you have seen this on the photography board already. I have two wonderful little boys and since we are not having any more children I was desperate to create a tutu but I don't have any little girls to model it.....then I had an idea: ALLIE my little dog! She is the only other female in a house full of testosterone! I took these photos yesterday evening. It was soo funny because while she was out in the yard in her tutu she saw a rabbit and stalked it like a cat and then pounced! It was just funny seeing her run around in it. Hope you enjoy my version of the girlie tutu!
